Looking up Ramboda Falls

Once again in the car we headed towards Ramboda Falls. Jeff had requested a room that had a "good view" of the falls. Did we ever … we managed to get not just a view but the best view in the entire hotel. The hotel is located near not just one but three waterfalls – two of them visible from our room. Not ones to ignore good fortune, we brewed a pot of tea, grabbed our cameras and head out the front door where we enjoyed every moment of our view of the falls. There was a down side to this location…everyone else figured out we had the best view so we had lots of company, people coming out to take shots of it. Good way to get a chance to meet lots of people. While Croatia is still way ahead for sheer number of falls, I think Sri Lanka is holding its own with tall, large volume waterfalls - I bet they are stunning during the rainy season!
